Applying for wp at the airport?

Hi,
I have just received a positive lmo and was wondering if I could simply go and apply at the closest airport for my wp?
Somebody told us to go to the border? Apparently they sometimes process it on the day?
I would love to hear about somebody that did it and succeed!
I come from a country that doesn't require a medical examination nor trv.

You have to do it at a land border.

An airport only works if you are flying in from an International location.

So do I just go down any us border?
