We are awaiting a Permanent Resident application to be processed (from June 2020 so not expecting an answer anytime soon). Common Law partner needs to apply for a visitors visa extension as his 6 months he was originally given expires Feb 15. When it asks how long we'd like to extend it for is 6 months the limit? Or can you ask for longer? Just unsure oh how long to ask for because obviously the longer the better.
