Applying for Visitor Record, can I use the same visa photo I used for the tourist visa?

Bit of a silly question, but I'll be applying for a Tourist visa extension, and wanted to know if I can use the same photo or if it must have been taken in no longer than the last 6 months. When checking the online application form, it doesn't specify whether it should be a new photo, it only does for PR applications.
