Applying for TRV in home country with work permit

Hi! I am going back to the Philippines in 2 weeks with valid work permit on hand. I decided to apply for my TRV there as there is no adequate time to apply for it here in Canada. Has anyone tried this before? I know there will always be a chance it might get rejected, but how high are the chances of it getting rejected?

Highly unlikely it would be rejected. You could also apply now and get it stamped back home, I believe people have done this.

Yes. I applied here in Canada, and hoping to have it stamped back in my home country.
