Applying for Temporary Resident Permit

I have applied for a study permit extension, I intend to leave to my home country for my vacations once I receive it, I wanted to know if I can apply for a temporary resident permit from my home country. Would it cause any problems if I applied for a TRV from my home country?

You will need TRV, not TRP to re-enter Canada. Yes, you can apply from your land.
