i have already completed associate of arts degree. Pgwp refused now I am looking to go on another permit for 1 yr certificate. How should I draft my SOP? will i be issued a visa? I dont know what to do im 24 and not eveb bachelor graduated. feeling depressed. Is there anyone in same boat?

No one can tell you your chances. Since you already have done a Canadian certificate and had a PGWP refused then chances are lower. Why was your PGWP refused?

actually my PGWP is under process but I strongly feel that it will be refused as I have applied from India and had status issues

going to study there has been the worst choice of my life.... I will live only to regret it....

I came India january 2019... Skipped my Jan semester... due to financial issues, didnt mention this in my LOE however I told that my grandmother was sick so had to come India... then before that I too missed one academic sem... so basically I flew India twice.... this is problem no 1.

going to problem no 2: When I came India in january 2019 I wanted to fly back May 2020 but Covid happened and I studied online since then on top of that my study permit expired on august 2020.... I applied for visitor visa and wanted to go there and restore status but files are still in process.... then my college told me to study the last sem as I had applied for visitor visa and explained my situation under that category...

for the second part, I am forced to study in Canada now or to get PR bcoz I am 24 years. If i get into a bachelors course then would graduate by 28. My friends are already earning now... Being 24 and not earning is a disgrace in Indian society

So you have been out of Canada since January 2019? How much of your course did you actually complete in Canada? Yes you may get a refusal for not studying full time and not completing your course in Canada. You have to wait for decision on your PGWP. You can’t enter right now on a visitor visa, even if approved.

Sorry about your situation. It seems like you failed to attend school for an extended period and were already out of status by the time you applied for your PGWP? If so, your PGWP might likely be refused.

Seeing as you already have 2 applications in process, you might need to wait for the outcomes (especially for the PGWP) before can apply for a study permit. Applying for another SP after violating the terms of your previous ones might also be a challenge.

If you received a valid certificate for your completed program you might be able to claim CRS points towards PR?

so firstly I did explain everything from scratch to the officer in the LOE. Applying for PGWP from India is valid even if my status had expired because that rules follows only in Canada. And then why would the college give me the credentials then? i have my transcript and Letter of completion. I attende around 80% of the program in Canada and only two semesters from India. what do u think?

The college gave you credential because you completed the program. What do you mean “Applying for PGWP from India is valid even if my status had expired because that rules follows only in Canada.” What changes? You need to wait for your PGWP response as you weren’t always a full time student. Plus, even with a PGWP, you can’t enter Canada now. You need a job offer.

Does skipping sem not make me a full time student? I mean i flew India not stayed there and worked illegaly. Idk now lets see, that is the reason I was saying my pgwp will refuse. Can you tell me what I should do next?
