I am a US citizen who went to a school in Canada from '13-'16. I was on scholarship during that time. Once my scholarship ran out I had to move back to the states because I could not afford it at the time without the financial help. I have about 1 or 2 classes to complete depending on the credits associated with those classes I choose to take and I am now in a position to finish.

I have been reading that I wouldn't necessarily need a study permit because the course/s would be under 6 months. But if I wanted to work is it better to apply for a work or study visa?

Thanks
