Applying for Skilled Worker

Hello.

I am a holder of an H1B visa here in the U.S. which expires this September. I am in the process of applying to migrate to Canada. I am targetting to send my application by the first week of March.

Are there any implications if i decide to go back to my country of citizenship (philippines)? Or would it be better to wait for the decision here in the u.S.?

Any feedback would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you want to apply for FSW or any other category.

In FSW, you can choose Manila as your visa office for processing instead of buffalo. Buffalo is very very slow. If you chose buffalo also your application will continue to be processed even when you leave the country. However, you may have to come to US if you choose buffalo vo should there be a interview or send passport for visa stamping. Manila vo is very fast and I suggest that you should choose Manila vo.

I looked into the spreadsheet and it looks like things are slower in Manila. I just think there are a lot more applicants in Manila.

I still have a week or two to decide though, where to apply and to go for a provincial nominne program. I just do not know which process is faster...

I am sorry I am new to this, but it is only the Buffalo office that processes immigrant applications?
