Applying for re-entry visa in accra

I am currently in Canada and have a visitor permit, I do not have a re - entry visa and need to leave to ghana in the next few weeks as i have a family emergency and I do not believe I will have enough time to apply for the re-entry here in Canada.

Does anyone know how long it would take to apply for a re entry visa and the requirements? Do I need to show proof of funds and all?

Hi I ended up applying for re entry here with my study permit as my case was urgent they processed it for me

Within how many days was it processed? and did you have to attach a letter to let them know that it was urgent?

They processed it within 8 days and yes I explained it was a family emergency with proof . This was sent to the LA processing office as I was applying for a study permit within Canada and the re entry
