I got married in February 2016 and applied for PR under family class sponsorship on 27 April, 2016. My husband was a permanent resident of Canada at that time and last month he has become the citizen of Canada.
It has been almost 2 years of my application for PR. Still now we have got no updates or improvement regarding my case. We ordered for GCMS note several times and the reply was same always, which is, “ my application is under security stage”.

In addition, I am mentioning that, I am a judicial officer serving the Government of my country and it is a full time permanent job.

My question is now, is my job the main reason for this unusal delay? Can a judicial officer of any country apply for spouse visa of Canada?
I am clueless actually and have no idea about further process.

This must be an isolated case and probably with some complex issues...........2-years in-process..........your application has not been refused..........not sure what stage you are..........not sure why the delay................but there must be a reason.

Your husband is now a Canadian Citizen.......so why not ask him to write his Canadian Federal Member of Parliament representing his constituency in Canada to help.......they could help contact IRCC.......they could help re-open your case.

Thanks! My husband did an enquiry 6 months ago but got the same usual reply. So out of frustration, he gave up actually. Maybe we need to enquire again this time. But i am not sure whether my job is a bar in this case or not :(

Tell your husband not to give up.....he should try contact the MP again......every MP has an office in the Capital city Ottawa and in their local constituency.....tell him to write the MP and if possible visit the MP in their local constituency office to discuss your sponsorship case.......sometimes our actions may help others thoroughly understand our plight leading to solutions.....
