Applying for PEQ from Outside Canada

Hello,

I am a Quebec graduate and I meet all the requirements for the PEQ program. However, I have been outside Canada for the past month and may remain abroad for a few more months.

I came across information that one of the conditions is to submit the application while physically present in Quebec. Is this correct? If so, how strictly is this requirement verified, and is there any way they confirm whether an applicant is currently in Quebec or Canada at the time of application?

I would appreciate any insights or advice. Thank you!

I'm under peq students path, already prepared the documents. In their list, MIFI asks you to submit your recent prove of residence in Quebec, like bank statements, paycheck, electricity bills, etc.

so you'd better return to Quebec and stay for 2-3 months then submit before Oct. 31.
