Hey guys, I am on a post graduate work permit in Ontario, currently working full time for a company in Hamilton. I have been working with them since almost and year now and the contract with this company is valid until december 2018 but my work permit it expiring on 30th September 2017. I can not avail the LMIA option due to certain reasons - the other option is that my wife is a full time student here (not a resident, she's on study permit). I want to know if i can apply on her study permit for an open work permit after i leave canada? I cant apply right away since our marriage certificate is still in process and it might come after the expiration date of my work permit.
kindly guide me regarding this. I am clueless and in urgent need of help as im short on time.
