If I am a citizen of an European country can I apply for a live in caregiver from Buffalo while I myself am already in Canada as a visitor? Thank you very much in advance for your replies :).

Yes you can but you must either have at least one year experience or have a 6 month caregiving course certificate.
 
I studied premedicine in my country for 2 years but it was more than 3 years ago. I also studied education for a year with a certificate in a third world country last year and did CPR course while in Canada. Think that qualifies as training?

No it has to be 6 months caregiving course. I thin the 6 months resident care aide course will also qualify or if you're a nursing graduate.
 
hi job seeker,

in my case ive been working for a yr now as a nanny here in canada but not under the LCP, provided that i have all of the requirements needed for LCP, can i now apply thru the Buffalo office for an LCP permit? let me know please.
