Applying for EE Before Receiving ECA

I have everything I need to apply for EE except my ECA, which is halfway through the twenty working days WES estimate. My degrees are from the UK so I'll be extremely surprised if they aren't considered equivalent.

Can I enter the pools without the ECA (as it's almost certain to arrive before an ITA) or will CIC not like an ECA dated after I applied for EE?

In order to create EE profile, you need the Reference number of your ECA, which you will know once you receive it.

As explained above - no, you can't. You need to have completed the ECA process and have the ref # in order to successfully create your EE profile.
