Hi,

I applied for express entry but due to some reason my profile was ineligible. However, now when i am filling it for second time, does it means that i already applied to CIC and if so there is no UCI number available to complete the profile? Its a big confusion as in both scenarios my profile can be considered as a misrepresentation.

Please help me. I also tried to contact CIC but unable to get in touch with anyone.

The UCI is asked for those who have applied before the express entry system and got a Unique Client Identification Number.

It seems like that but when you answer yes to the question whether you applied to CIC it also asks.

1) Have you applied for EE Profile earlier?
2) Please provide EE File Number?

Awaiting answers from all experts :o

Yes, and you need to provide ineligible EE profile number. Hope that helps to you.

But then it asks for UCI Number which is not available for first EE profile and it is not accepting my reply like N/A or Not Available and without filling it the profile is not getting completed. Dont know what to do now?

No; you have not applied to CIC if you cancelled your first profile. If you still want to say yes; input 00000000. 8 times 0.

I didn't cancelled my first profile, I made some mistake due to which my profile was ineligible.

Also, don't you think that putting 0000-0000 as UCI wl be misrepresentation???

Guys, please help me out. I am still awaiting answers from experts?

No, you can only say that you applied to CIC if you already have a UCI number. If you ever applied for a Canadian visa before you'll have a UCI number on the visa, otherwise not.

There will be a second question asking if you applied to EE before.
