Applying for college

Hi everyone!

Me and my husband are waiting for my PR to come through, hopefully it will be approved in January or so! Now I have found a college program starting in September 2016 that I want to take, would I be allowed to apply for it and maybe even get accepted to it even though I dont have PR status yet? Dont want to do anything to conflict with my application

you can apply for college and if you do not get your pr before school starts , you might apply for student permit.

(what I read in this forum)
if you can prove your pr is almost end of process, you would not need student permit (depending on which province you are in ).


anyway, you can apply and register college now without permit, but you need permit or pr when you take actual classes.
