Applying for Citizenship but my passport will expire in 3 months

Hi - Need some advice.

I am going to submit my application soon but my passport will expire in 3 months.

1. Can I submit my application now and then update my new passport information later ?
2. Should I wait for my passport renewal and then apply for citizenship ?

A valid passport is not a requirement to apply for citizenship. As previously mentioned, you can apply right away.

As stated in the application form, if you do not have a valid passport at the time of application or in the 5 years prior, you have to include an explanation why.
