Applying for a student visa after applying in family class

Hi all,

I have recently submitted Outland application, I am with my partner for 4 years living together in Ireland, she is a Canadian citizen.

I would like to study in a Canadian university, and do a Masters in Social Work.

Obviously cheaper for a permanent resident, but I’m wondering can I apply for a student visa and further my education in Canada while I’m awaiting the outcome of my permanent residency application?

You can. No guarantee will be granted. But at any rate will need to be accepted first.
