Hi.
I visited Canada in 2012-13 as student.
I did a course and become a refugee claimant but in 7-8 months i withdraw my case and returned to Pakistan in 2013.
Now after 10 years, i have to revisit canada for training of course.
Both side companies are strong and take responsibility of this visit.

Documents submitted on 15 Apr 23
Biometric done on 20 Apr 23
Now i am waiting for responce.

Will they consider my visa application and grant me visa?
In last ten years, my Job is strong i have ties, property in Pakistan.

It's honestly hard to say. This could go either way.

Good luck and let us know what happens.

I received a PFL (procedural Fairness letter) today. Officer raised a point why i didn't mention my Deport Order in application. While i was refugee claimant in year 2013.

I replied. I withdrew my case and volunteerly left canada without any office Leave order and attach my case withdraw copy.

In case of such PFL.
What are chances of Visa approval.?

If office want, he can reject my case at moment but he asked details.
Should i consider it positive and have some Hope.
Or
Its bad?

Likely a refusal. Claiming asylum has longterm co sequences.

A PFL is an intent to deny your application. However this doesn't mean there isn't still some chance for approval. Overall, a PFL is a bad thing to receive.

Do you remember what date you withdrew your claim and then what date you left Canada?

Refugees have a departure order which is inactive while a refugee claim is in progress. However as soon as you withdraw your claim, the departure order becomes active. This then turns into a deportation order automatically if you do not leave Canada within 30 days.

To answer your question, I don't think any of us can guess what your chances are of being approved for a TRV. It's generally quite difficult to be approved with a past history of claiming refugee status in Canada. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
