Apply PR using a new and different LMIA and job offer whilst working with the previous employer

Hi guys

i have 2 questions

1. I have a dual intent LMIA that says it expires on December 2021 from my current employer. can I use that again for PR after December 2021 or is it void after expiry ?

2. Also I am on a closed work permit with a specific employer and I might apply for pr in few months under CEC but I am not sure my employer would provide me with a new LMIA when I apply for PR. In case I need extra points, can i get LMIA and job offer from a different employer for PR while I am working with my current employer ?
