Apply for PR without spouse and Can I apply family sponsorship later

I am in Canada now in work permit and spouse with open work permit. I am 10 points behind to the current express entry trend if I include spouse in my profile. Otherwise I am qualify to get PR invite. In this case, can I apply alone and get PR first. Later, can I bring my spouse to Canada through family sponsorship program?

You can apply for spousal sponsorship, yes. You do need to declare your spouse as non-accompanying of course.

You should post your question to the Express Entry section of the forum. Some people have recently run into issues with their Express Entry program applying this way.

Would add that many are getting PFL if they sponsor their spouse as non-accompanying but they are in Canada. Have not seen the outcome of the PFLs.
