I completed my masters and now will be starting a PhD. I have renewed my study permit for the PhD.
I would like to know if I can apply for a PGWP based on my masters, while I continue as a PhD student. I know that I am eligible to work for 20 hours on study permit. However, I want to apply for PGWP just as backup if I decide to discontinue from PhD after a year or so. At that time, since I won't have finished my PhD and the 6 months deadline to apply to PGWP after masters would already have passed.
Any advice would be helpful.
