Apply for Perm Card when the Landing has already Landed.

Hi Members,

Background : I live across the Canadian border, on the US side, and work in the US. I have my COPR stamped and attached on my passport and have already done landing in Canada, by Road.

Issue: When I landed, the immigration office at the Canadian Port Of Entry, said, since, I still live in the US, to apply for Perm Card when I start to live in Canada. I did update the Address to my friend's address in Canada. I still live in the US and would move to Canada, 8 months from now.

Question: How can I apply for Canadian Perm Card, when I have already updated my address to a friend's address in Canada?

Your card will be sent to your friend's address. First time PR card is sent automatically, no need for application.
