Hi immigration friends,
I was unfortunately rejected as a common law partner because I could not produce solid evidence that my partner and I lived together for a year.
We have been together 6 years now and during our common law application processing, we got married.
So now I am applying again as a spouse from within Canada (I have a 1-year visitor visa I was given by a kind border official).
Regarding Question 6 of IMM 0008:
My CSQ from my common law app says it expires in 2021, does that mean on my new spousal Generic form (0008) that I should say I have received my CSQ and give the number? Or do I write no and I should just prepare to apply again because the CSQ was in relation to a rejected common law app.
Thanks for your advice! Also, if anyone has ever been through this kind of situation of applying a second time, any general tips would be great.
