Highly unlikely you'll be able to secure a work permit. To do that, you need a job offer from an employer and the employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA. Most employers aren't willing to go through this process due to the amount of time it takes, expenses involved and no guarantee of approval. You should apply to immigrate instead if you qualify.
