Apply for an open work permit under a public policy (PGWP extension)

thanks for your reply! My PGWP expires on Aug 20/21 so I should be able to apply on April 21.
I got affected by the pandemic but nothing major, any ideia if they can refuse it for that reason ?
Or there is no refusal if you meet those requirements?

If you meet the requirements and also include the letter that you are applying under public policy , i see no grounds on which they can refuse your work permit extension

They dont care if you were affected by the pandemic. As long as you have valid status, expired or going to expiry work permit and in Canada, you should be fine

Applied feb 10 with restoration
Approved March 17
Work permit valid until sept 17.2022
My application was assigned to the Edmonton visa office.

Hi, if my PGWP expired on 09-2020 and I already applied and received closed work permit with employer restrictions, and already 6 months ago applied for PR can I apply for OWP public policy? I meet all 5 creterias . Will it have any impact on PR application??
