My husband and I submitted the application together on September 12th. The 18th fingerprint match was successful.I received an email on September 22 to inform me to submit my passport. At present, the student visa has been successfully affixed. But there is no news about my husband's spouse's work visa. Excuse me, is this normal? If the student visa has passed, will the spouse's work visa be rejected?

Note that dependents application are never guaranteed, there is always the possibility of rejection. Dependents applications are treated separately from the PA’s application, hence the difference in decision dates.

It's not uncommon for processing times to vary between different types of visas, even for applicants from the same family. The approval of your student visa doesn't necessarily mean your husband's work visa will be rejected. Each visa category has its processing timeline. Continue to monitor the status of your husband's application, and if there are delays or concerns, consider contacting the immigration authorities or a legal expert for further guidance.

Both are individual applications

Student getting visa is not a guarantee for Spouse

Both have to pass eligibility
Show funds
Justify purpose of visit & prove that stay is temporary

Wait it out

Good Luck
