Apply Express Entry after PNP AOR received

Hi everyone,
I already applied for PNP to CIC and received AOR. However, it's a long wait and some people suggested me to apply for Express Entry. Since I just got enough experience requirement, I am thinking about it seriously.

Is that possible to apply for Express Entry? I went to my CIC account and didn't see any buttons for Express Entry application (I linked my PNP application to my account). So how do I create Express Entry profile?

I figured out that people created another GC Key account for the Express Entry if the paper based PNP is in progress.
Have anyone did the same thing before and got PR with Express Entry? Please help
