Applied in Canada for PR, can I send my passport to a Visa Office outside Canada when I get PPR?

Hi,

I'm expecting to get my PR in the next weeks. However, I am currently outside the country and willing to go back to Canada after a couple of months.

I applied for TRV in Canada and when it got accepted, I called Ottawa and they told me that I can send my passport in any visa office around the world to have my visa stamped, which is what I did and I submitted my passport in Egypt for the visa stamp even though I applied from Canada.

Now, can this be also applied on the PR Passport Request ? Or I will have to go back to Canada to send my passport to Sydney/Ottawa when I get the request?

Any similar experience?

It can be done. When you get your Passport Request, reply to that email and ask them to transfer the request to your nearest visa office.
