Also, if approved we need to send passport for visa stamp as well right? How long it's gonna take then? Will we be able to join Jan session?

Don't lose hope till the end!! I hope we should have something by next week. But another 10-15 days means I don't know how to inform my professor . I even don't know if he will retain all the funds for me for next sessions

Yeah, we should barely make it. I have to be there by the 4th of January. If we possibly get visa by the 19th, 14 days after we would normally still be in time
