Applied from New Delhi dated 30 NOV 2008 (through WWICS)

Hi Friends,

I have applied through New Delhi Embassy dated 30 November 2008 (through WWICS, New Delhi).

I recevied file receving confirmation status on 31 Dec, 2008.

My job Profile : Working as technical specialsit in one of top US based MNC in Gurgaon and have total 4 years of experince.

Suddenly my online file status got changed to "Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete"
and Visa officer has issued a letter to me March 10, 2010 which i have not recevied even after 20 days.

As per WWICS Agent " They might have rejected my application due to " Job Profile did not match to Skilled worker cateogary".

If anybody can shed light on this. What should i do know if they have rejected, However I have strong IT background from TOP MNC and now experice is more than 5 years.

The online status does not at all in any ways reflect that your case has been rejected. What was your application's online status before this one.

It might have been possible that you would have sent your application to New Delhi CHC. Now they would have sent it to Sydney, Canada CIO for assessment due to this regulation.

"Federal skilled worker applications received on or after February 27, 2008 are now assessed for eligibility according to a set of criteria issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism."

As per this new regulation you need to know this that whether you will be eligible as per the 38 MOS list.

Thanks for prompt reply.

6 Months before status was "application recevied". Now changed Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete.I have applied under "Code 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers" and have relevant experince also ( but not working as manger)

If it has been rejected Can i change the my work profile and Descrption beacuse i have not updated the same from last 1.6 years.
