Applied for Permanent Residence/Work Permit Expiring

Hi There,

I am currently working in Canada on my post graduate work permit. I have just submitted my Permanent Residence application. My post graduate work permit is expiring in about a month and a half. I am wondering what my next steps should be. Should I apply for an open work permit? Is there a difference between Open work permit and bridging work permit or are they one and the same? Need guidance.

When you say that you've submitted your application - I assume you mean that you received ITA and have submitted your application (not that you have set up an express entry profile and are waiting for ITA). Is that right?

That is correct. I received an ITA and have submitted all documents.
