Hi guys,

I applied for OINP 1 months ago and I chose to be assessed against the CEC criteria. Now I received my ITA to apply under FSW. What do you think I should do? Should I ask OINP to assess my application against FSW?

Just apply for PR under FSW and contact Ontario to see if they will return your application / refund your money.

Ask Ontario to withdraw the application immediately. If you withdraw it before you get AOR, you will get a full refund.

A nomination is only good to get an ITA. When you already have got an ITA, there is no point in still going forward with the nomination application.

I Have already received AOR from OINP. So I think there would be no refund. The reason I want to continue with PNP applicatio is that my CRS score is so close to the lowest-ranked candidate invited. If the CIC rejects one of my work experience for any reason, my points will drop under the cut-off.

If you have already got AOR, no refunds! Well, once you get an ITA and submit an application to CIC, I don't think they will still be able to issue you a nomination. I am not sure about this, though.

What i am wondering is how did you received AOR within one month of applying to OINP? Are you sure you applied to the same OINP that we know and applied to too? just kidding!

On second thoughts...may be because you were on CEC category.

Since you choose to be assessed as a CEC candidate for OINP, so i assume your qualifications (for EE) must be strongest as CEC applicant, hence i suggest if you to respond to and decide to go ahead with your ITA as an FSW category applicant be 100% sure that you comply with ALL the requirements in that categories else we have seen cases on this forum where candidates applying for one category and then getting assessed in another had their applications rejected for falling short on requirements for that category.

Hope i could be clear...and all the best.
