Applied for FSW 2014, and now passportdue to expire. What to do?

I have applied for FSW 2014 and I application received by CIC on the 30th Dec 2014.

My passport is due to expire in June 2015

Should I get my passport renewed now or

Should I wait for the visa office to request for my passport for visa stamping and then I get a new passport which I can submit to them for visa stamping?

Any Suggestion guys?

Please get it renewed around March 2015. Just make sure that you have the renewed passport when the visa office makes the request. You tie it with rubber to the Old passport. The visa office will be able to confirm that you are the same person when they see the passport information you entered during your application.

Thanks for the suggestion.But whats the harm if I get it renewed now???

You can renew it now and inform visa office later after getting PER.
