I thought AEO would speed up the process, (not only additional points) in Buffalo.

I am worreid that my 'soon-to-be' employer might be disappointed if it doesnt speed up anything.. and also waiting is painful. Most of all Vancouver is so expensive. :) I was going to get LMO and then last year most of the LMO cases were turned down by HRSDC , so I applied for AEO and have been studying and paying a lot....

hi, Disco, I am an international student in Vancouver bc too, and I am also have the AEO, you have the same thinking as mine, holding AEO is faster, but in my case, i can not see its faster than others.

Ya, prity much the same. However my file was transfered to NY visa office. It seems your file is processed in Buffalo it self. Looking at the other forums, buffalo is changing the status for the March 2010 applicant. So you must expect some change in your status in a week. All the best..

looks like u and i are both applying under FSW3 category..

I sent my papers to Buffalo April 28, 2010 and got 2nd AOR May 11, 2010... so looking at your timeline I hope I get mine in 5 months time :)

Hi,

I am a newbie here. But I think Professional and older members can offer their thought.

I am in a graduate program in an ontario university and I am leaving the program voluntarily by the end of August due to varied reasons (funding cuts, unfriendly environment, thinking of carrier path change, etc). But the thing here is I will only be one year in Canada by mid September and by that time I would not be registered anymore, and I am not sure if I cant get a new school by that time. Basically, I intend to get into another grad school . But I was wondering if I get a letter frm school just before the end of August, I might want to include it when applying in Sept., but I am wondering if that will work 'cos I feel immigrations might want to verify that letter and that might be when I am no longer there.

I dont really know how soon I can get anothe school, and having waited almost a year, I am just pissed that I might have to wait again until I can get into another program if what I planned to do above doesnt work.

I am applying as FSW3 - international student

Any ideas please?

Any good new so far?
I dont see anyone getting 2nd ARO from Buffalo these days.....

My friend completed her process as a PNP and through Buffalo office at the end. She said she got the 2nd ARO and Medical request almost at the same period Which I dont see from a lot of other people here..

Anyways!

hi guys,
I have no changes in my case but i have been told about some one here in Halifax who informed to send his medicals to Buffalo office after a 6 month waiting period.
From that case and similar case in our threat it looks for me that is our time line ( 6 month or less).
