Hi Zulkfal,

You are right, I got my Caips Note, the BF'D is exactly 64 weeks from the day that they received my application.

64 weeks from the date VO has received your full application, not from 2nd AOR or file transfer.

My friend got 2nd AOR in May-2010

This is not making any sense my file was transferred in Feb 2010 to buffalo.. I sent my complete document in Jun 2010 but got 2nd AOR on 4th Nov 2010..

All along I was reading that the period starts from file transfer.. if what you are saying is true then I'm in big trouble..

Regards,

sorry for that direct post.. no hard feeling though.. just worried as tired of changing plans

thanks

One thing is right..........No body know about Buffalo VO.......
How they process

Yeah...got the same email. That way I cannot expect medical's anytime sooner than October. Still, I am grateful they are not counting from the second AOR...damn BVO

i think october is being too optimistic... if they are sending medical requests for people with april AOR, then us with October and later AOR is far far away... especially because in may -june they had sooooooo many applications...

By October it will be more than 64 weeks from the time they received my application. At least they are gonna have to answer my emails differently.

Hi garian4u,

Yes you could order the CAIPS notes for your friend. To get it faster, tick the option that charges for $5 in the following application form:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563B.pdf

If you want more information in that regard, conntact the following email adress:

Sebastien.Fleurant @ cic.gc.ca

Thanks Pro1. We had filled out the necessary forms and were about to send them off when he got PPR on 15th July. Now it being NYVO, he had to send his passports by mail. The only sticking point is, considering they take 3-4 weeks to send the passport back. He will roughly be given a month to land. That's not fair. His medicals were in early October, so I guess he would have to land by 1st week of October. But, anyways, he finally got PPR. But, these things tend to shake people up. After having applied in early 2009 and providing all documents within a few days of request, he had to wait for 2.5 years for getting PPR.

Hello,

Please review my timeline in my signature, my intial application document sent was on 29 Oct 2009 and my second AOR was in august 2010... still waiting for medicals, dont know WTF Buffalo office or NEW YORK CITY OFFICE is doing with my application?? it says still in process from aug 2010!

Hey team,

Any news on the status of MI1 files in Buffalo?

I also have a concern. I applied under FSW3 a months sooner than my friend who applied under the same category. How come his status is "In Process" while mine still says RBVO?

Ben,
same here..
My second AOR is March 2010, and still no medicals. ( New York office),

I sent an email to buffalo visa office and this is the reply:

CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the review of applications throughout the year.

We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from INSERT MONTH/YR RECEIVED HERE during the current calendar year. If we are able to initiate processing earlier, we will contact you.

In my case it is already more then 64 weeks since I got my 2nd AOR. Now, I just do not know what should I do? Should I go for medical in advance or wait for their call?

what was the inserted month/year ?
