I have been asked to go for medicals, am currently in Canada and my wife is back. I have received two forms one for my wife and one for myself. I have sent my wife's form to Pakistan but it will take around 2 weeks or might be more to arrive there. Can my wife print IMM 1017 (the form sent by VO) and go to MDP for medicals or she need the one sent by VO. I read on forum that people went for medicals without a request from VO in that case it shouldn't be an issue.

To save the time, you could have scanned your wife forms and sent them via email. If you still have copy of them, go ahead and do it.

Its been over 18 months and every time i contact Buffalo office, only reply i get is My application is in process. No time line can be provided. As per immigration website the processing time are given for the Buffalo office is 17 months based on complete application package.

I have completed my medical on my own on November 22, 2011 and sent it for the consideration. (I havent recieved any letter regarding medical)

Any idea what they mean by complete application package? Any one else on the same boat with me? please share your updates? I dont seem to understand what may have gone wrong or this kind of time is usual?

Any responce on this is much appreciated!!

there is no news after....

Complete application package means the date Buffalo received your full application. Threrefore, start counting the time after that date. I think you should be very close to the finalization of your application, as this is the time of the year Buffalo startes moving "Late April, early May" every year.

ASSESSED ELLIGIBLE NOC :- 0213. DUTIES PERFORMED BY PA CORRESPOND TO LEAD STATEMENT AND OR MAIN DUTIES FOR THIS NOC ;

PA HAS A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF WORK EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE PAST 10 YEARS IN ELIGIBLE NOC CODE 0213.

PA IS THEREFORE RECOMMENDED TO THE VISA OFFICE FOR A FINAL DETERMINATION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR PROCESSING.

is anyone know what they do when they bring file for point of paper screening (PPS) on june 24th or what might be the next step on b'fd

CIO has recommended you to concerned visa office Buffalo on basis of their assessment that you have minimum of one year of work experience in one of the categories which is on ministerial list. No initial assessment by VO has been taken on your file yet.

Well, we can not do anything else than waiting and taking out our frustration in this forum. By the way,I ordered the caips and coincidentally today is my BF'D.

But after that there is no change in my status.

I think based on your BFD, which is today, you can expect any kind of communication from Buffalo within two weeks or even less. (MD, additional document request,....etc).
