I got good news , our forum member was right for the Visa quota in 2011. I just got the Passport Request 20 minutes ago, the letter dated Apr 01. Keep it up everyone . Good news is coming for everyone

Thanks everyone for congratulations, I went out for photo this morning and I met a really cute girl taking the photo for Visa issuance ). I hope that Toronto will serve me well with more chicks .
I got the PPR in post mail dated Apr 01 2011. As I said earlier, I live in the city, about 5 miles away from the Consulate so the mail come that quick. I hope that more member will receive good news this week too

I double check with NY consulate and the only option is to mail it and wait for visa issuance

Hello,

I am silent observer of this thread and I have a question:

I have applied under FSW1 category and my visa office is buffalo and received my 2nd AOR in JUNE 2010.

In July, I got new job but the problem is, I have not informed the Buffalo visa office till date. So, Is it advisable to inform the visa office or will it be a negative impact on my file?

I sent some documents to Buffalo VO today. I had made a few errors on my initial application so sent some corrected documents to them. Should i send a case specific enquiry to Buffalo VO to make sure they have recieved them and when ?

Hi leodr,

I don't think you have to send a case specific enquiry to ask if they received the documents that you sent previously. If you sent it via express mail or any courier company, you definitely have tracking number right? so just track it from there so you'll know once they got it.

That's what I did last month, I sent an update about my status, sent it through express post and tracked it. 2 days after they received it (according to the tracking number) my e-cas has been change to "In Process" ;D

After the reconsideration letter received this Friday got email saying that they are re opening the file and also got my RPRF &PP request I Email...hurray...... ;D....
Sending passports for visa stamping on Monday will keep you guys posted.
