Hi pariksith,

No it is not gonna be another 8 months just to start the processing of your application, they might have already started by now, or at least in the very near future. Sometimes they delay sending the AOR for unknown reasons.


By the way, is that the entire email you have received from them, didn't they mention the second part of the message which says:


"Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund."
 
Seniors, any idea how long it will take to get PP back from Buffalo, On website its written 15 days. Its been 11 working days in my case but not received yet.

Please advice .....

Some member get theirs back around 3 weeks, that's all I know. You should wait after 15 business days and contact them to ask.

hi professional1 ,
i did my landing on 6october 2010 still waiting for pr card , i called 2-3 times in cic they still say it is process will get soon , once they told me just wait till dec 15 if dont get just give us a call back( i asked for photograph they said it is gud, no prblm in that) ,but on cic website it shows 41 days as i cked before , i need to go on vacctions as i already booked my ticket , so why they r taking soo much time ?
please guide me what to do

For me, i got it after 38 days, when it was stating in their website that it takes 31 days. Do not worry, you will get it way before Dec 15.

Finally i got my PP back today...... It took Exact 1 Year and 2 Month from the date i send my Complete App to Buffalo.

its almost been 1 year since CIC received my Application, and 7 months since 2nd AOR. But still no medical request. CIC email reply In Process, E-cas still showing "received by visa office". Sign, Christmas is coming, VOs will be on holidays. When will my case pass?????????? Frustrated. :( :( :(

My file was transferred to LA on Oct 25. "In Process" from Nov 1

Medicals received Nov 15. Medical done Nov 29. Medicals couriered Dec 3. Now I too have joined the "waiting" gang. I don't expect any further progress at least until Feb'11. Just hoping for quick PPR intimation.

All the best for others patiently waiting for their file to move / progess futher

Now i finally got my Passport, i have a key question of Landing.

In the application i wrote the city of stay as Vancouver and also in my landing paper (CPR) its showing Vancouver

Can i land other then Vancouver i.e Toronto?
