Its your turn. Have faith.

Wishing you the best. MI-1 (pre-June 2010) cases seem to be the priority now.

Hi guys,
I had security/professional interview on early oct 2011 and my e-CAS shows "started processing" since that time. Do you have any idea how long does it take to get medicals? I am FSW3 applicant and my file is in Buffalo.

Thanks

News for all waiting for Medical Request. I got my medical papers in the mail after almost 90 days from transfer of my file from Buffalo to NY. Very happy to know that my case is approved and moving on. Any idea how long is it taking to get Passport request after medicals are received by visa office?.

Good luck all and hope you all get your responses soon.

Hey Guys,

I got my medicals letter (dated jan 27th) but i received it on Feb 6th by post(Canadian mailing address). But unfortunately i went to India for vacation and will be back on march 7th.

So i booked medicals for March 12th . Do you guys think it is too late for medical test ???

Thanks,
Kishore

Do your medical in India. Its faster, cost you approx $65.

Hi guys,

I have a GREAT news to share... I just received my Passport today with the maple leaf visa!!!! :P :P :P

Oh my gosh! Can't find an exact word to express how I feel but I almost jump when I saw the visa ;D

Thank you LORD! and thanks to everyone to all the support and comforting words throughout the whole process. This forum is wonderful and it became a part of my daily life for more than two years.. :-*

I am planning to do my inland landing next week at the nearest CIC where I live and I will keep you guys posted

Just a thought for those who are still waiting for their visas: "Good thing comes to people who wait patiently"

Best of luck!

But the medical request letter sent is at my Canadian residence..So I dont have it with me now. Is it okay if i just see the doctor in India and give him my file number so that he can conduct the test here and send it to New york office???

Thanks

Can you not have someone FedEx it to your Indian address? If not, you can also try to have a scanned copy of the medical forms. Only file numbers may do, but the VO usually send the medical forms with your photos attached on it. I think doing the medicals anywhere in the world is possible as long as you're going to the an authorized DMP.
