i suggest applying for cec.. i spoke to my lawyer and its ok to have 2 ongoing applications in cic. her advice to me was to include a letter in the 2nd application explaining that u already have an application, its details like category, aor number and its stage etc.. and that now u qualify for cec and are applying under cec..
i'm still gathering documents for my cec application, but i believe it will be faster than our FSW application..

i just cant decide if i should send my cec to buffalo or india.. indian VO seems to move faster than Buffalo for fsw.. but i'm not sure how fast it is for CEC..

seniors any input on CEC applications in Indian VO?

I have read somewhere in this forum that all CEC applications are handled by Buffalo VO only. I do not know if it is true but if it stands true, this partly explains the delay in processing applications since CEC was introduced a couple of years ago.

Your friends also received MR in 5 months. Can you confirm with your friends as to what VO they have chosen. I will vote for NDVO.

"UPDATED APPLICATION FORMS FOR YOU. THESE ARE IMM8 (Generic ad Schedule 1)"

Can anyone please tell me what forms are they exactly as I applied initial application in 2009 and I see forms are changed now.

My case just moved to In Process from RBVO, so can you tell me how much time it took for Medical request from In Process status.. our time line are more or less same.. just following your foot prints

you should atleast expect by latest JAN 2012, including all holidays coming in between in month of Novemebr & December!

Hello all,

I asked CIC about my application status and in response I get.."We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from February 2010 during the current calendar year..". Anyone with similar dates, please update ur dates & current status. I now believe nothing can be expected before late 2012. Pls pass ur thoughts !!

Calendar year means Jan.--Dec. I guess that's what the email suggests.

We actually almost have the same timeline and our file was also transferred to NY on Oct 14, just 1 day after yours...I hope we get our MR soon...

Friends, help please

After almost 20 months since I received the AOR in U.S. in 2010 Apil. I moved back to my home coutry 2010 August. My friend just received the medical request letter at her U.S address.
I have two questions that I need your urgent help with:

1. The letter also requests an updated police certificate from FBI because the one I originally sent has expired. The old one was dated 2009 December. I cannot go back to U.S to get a fingerprint again. Since I have lived in my home country since last August, can I obtain a police certifcate from my home country instead?

2. If I have to get a fingerprint to submit to FBI, is it possible to obtain the fingerprint outside of U.S.?

Hey friends I got reply from Buffalo VO And my application got denied after waiting for 2 years.
Officer says " my job duties did not satisfy him. But i believe it fits in Noc 9212."
I need some expert's advise. Can i go against that decision and ask for review again and submitt job duties well explained.
