Has anyone contacted you by phone from Buffalo or within Canada (from immigration)?

Mark

No still waiting

I am hopeful our processing will start next year (if not by the end of this year).

Hi,

Today I e mailed buffalo office rgarding my AOR but I did not get the automatic confirmation of delivery from buffalo office. I remember last time we I sent them email I got an automatic reply that your e mail has been delivered to buffalo office.

So What do you think my e mail is delivered or should I try again????

Thanks

Since you have not received the auto-reply, your message might not been delivered successfully.

It's wierd but once I too did not get an auto reply for a message I send them. However, they replied back to my query, which means they got the message. So I'm not sure how the auto reply thing works.

I meant weird. Sorry for the typo!!!

Maybe the auto-reply does not work everytime, i have no idea about it actually.

Do you have any letters written before your file number from Buffalo other than B.

For me the file number looks like this: (PK) B#########

Guys, i found new news about the current processing time for the FSW applications submitted after February 26, 2008 from CIC website;

They are going to post the new processing time on CIC website by January/February 2010, actually i have no idea what are they going to write about Buffalo visa office which has not even finished a single FSW case under the new system. Shame on them !!!!!!!!!!!

"Skilled Worker applications received after February 26, 2008 (Federal)

October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009

Current processing times for Federal Skilled Worker applications received after February 26, 2008 will be available with the next update, in January/February 2010. This will mark 12 months of processing upon which the processing times can be calculated."

Nothing before B, pal. Guess they are trying to differentiate yours with "PK" since it is an application from Canada, eh? Not so sure.

MarkCan, may I ask what is B when you say nothing before "B"?

"B" is the general Code for all applications under the FSW class, so your file number format must strat by this letter followed by numbers like the following format:

B########

Well, if I had to make a wild guess, I would say "B" stands for Buffalo. However, it could be anything else as well. I am pretty sure CIC creates these file #'s with some specific coding in mind.

UPDATE:

Found a Buffalo case on trackitt that was from Dec '08. At least some cases are inching closer to 2009. There is still hope.
