1. I don't think a long-distance relationship will be accepted. You have to prove to them that if she is common-law partner, in what way? Live-in relationships are counted. However, if you wanna try and include her, just remember she will be involved in all of your processing. I have doubts you will get any points from her unless you can prove you both are living together.

2. Work experience is considered for points by the time you submit the documents

3. What do you mean "changed your passport"? Did you renew it? Did you change the country and got a new passport? If you have renewed it (same country), you don't need to report that.

Mark

My passpost was up to expire, so I got the new one. So, technically it's a renewal and it has totally new number.
Regarding to work expirience - is it possible to update CIC with my recent data regarding work expirience? Also, if I worked at two justs and one of them lasted 9 month, second one lasted 1 year and 4 month = does it mean I have 2+ years of exp?

Hi and congratulations nn000! I emailed Buffalo and they replied on the same day. They confirmed receipt of medicals for myself and my dependent and also receipt of PPR and when they posted my payment. Since I did not ask for status (didn't want to be told that I'm within normal processing time, blah blah), they did not say anything about it.

I'll give it until Aug and if I don't hear from them, I'll just send another email.

Btw, how long did you have to wait in the visa office?

Congrats again!

I got there at around 9:30AM and left the office with PR visa an hour later.
Hope that you will get your PPR soon.
Good luck
