Hi guys,

I got a PER yesterday almost 7 months after submitting my application to CIO and exactly 1 month after receiving an unfair NER.

My visa office is Buffalo so the drama continues. CIO has taught me what it means to be resilent so Buffalo, bring it on.

Thanks to those who offered advices (special mention to Indira and 9jcanada) during my unfair NER period.

Please reactivate my row in the tracker and update.

my kind of story. after NER, I got PER on 23rd june, 2011. still waiting for a change in e-cas.
bravo!!

Hi all,

I've been inactive for a while thanks to a NER in Feb but now finally I can post some good news. We received PER yesterday. Please move us from the "inactive users" to the spreadsheet with following data (although it's a bit more complicated):
NOC: still FSW2
VO: still Paris
Application received: 23 Nov 2010
Payment method: CC
CC Encashed 1: 24 Nov 2010
NER: 28 Feb 2011
CC reimbursed: 10 Mar 2011
E-mail CIO "file under review": 14 Apr 2011
Request for new fee payment form by CIO: 2 Jun 2011
CC Encashed 2: 16 Jun 2011
PER: 7 Jul 2011 :D

We haven't changed anything in our file or haven't sent any additional documents but we did send some inquiries and, more importantly, worked through our representative which is a Canadian government agency (not CIC though ;D) This means apparently CIO made a mistake the first time, which cost us 4,5 months. Let's hope they make it up to us by speeding our file through the VO!

another story!! good!! it's good to know people with the same situation around!! w-a-i-t-i-n-g!!

The 35 pages are full of info about me, my wife and my 2 kids. including the assessement information, every work experience and every diploma, TEF results...., the date they create the file, and every operation done by CIO/Buffalo is recorded in that file.
If I hide these infos, the report will be useless.

If you are outside Canada, you can order them via some private agencies, they will charge you 40$.

Great news and thanks for updating us (BUFFALO applicants). I have question after looking at the Form to request the information.

It says that Requester under the Access to Information or Privacy Acts can only made by Canadian citizen, PR card holder or person who lives in canada. So I can ask my relative, who lives in canada, to request one for me? Please correct me if I am wrong.

They just need my consent to get my CAIPS information.

It will be appreciated if you help to fill up the form.

Thanks again.

NER for my FSW application, please help

Friends,

I applied for FSW in 0631 in April 2011 and I got an email from CIO that I am not eligible. I did my schooling from India, one yr dilpoma in computers, then went to Aus on student visa in 2008 and did 2 yr diploma in saloon management. I sent all documents of my college and university, transcripts and certificate of dilpoma but visa officer gave me only 15 points stating that my total number of education is 13 and not 14 so I was given only 15 points

Summary of points that I claimed and he gave me is as follows,

Education 12+1 in India and 2 yr dip in Aus 20 he gave me 15
Age 10 he gave 10
Work Exp 21 he gave 21
Husband Qualification 4 he gave 4
IELTS 14 he gave 14
I claimed 69 and he gave me 64.

I am also worred as will I get my original transcripts back? Should I re apply or go for appeal?

Please suggest me
Neha

I have some news for Buffalo applicants, I have applied for CAIPS notes, I received GMCS notes instead (35 pages), here are some finding:
- Buffalo has created te B number on 22nd of March, this is equivalent to 2nd AOR. (4 days later my e-cas status changed to RBVO).
- Buffalo has triggered and received the RCMP screening on 4th of April (results: No repotable trace).
- Application status "in progress" although the e-cas status is still showing RBVO.
- Security and Criminality screening are ongoing.

The notes include also the number of points, and their breakdown for each criteria.

true. :)

Finally received my Medical Request.
They have also asked for a new PCC along with "Fees for Permanent Residence".

Hi Marocain,

Congrats for the activity from BVO, it's a wonderful news.

I have been RBVO since April 2011, and last thing I heard from BVO was fingerprints for my wife on June 2, 2011. I am thinking of getting CAIPS. I am bit confused on filling the form though.

If you could please help, I would really appreciate.

What do I fill in the following:
1. Under Access to Information Act - I should leave it as blank
2. Under Privacy Act - I should check IN ENGLISH
3. Do I need to check anything under Recieve copies of the records or examine copies of the records in a govrnmt office?
4. Under Request for - Should I check FOSS (information in Canda) or In-Canda File (FOSS included). I am Ontario.

Regards,
Shiv

That is pretty funny and yes we just need some form of relief/reconciliation that something is going on at Buffalo VO.

Agreed most of us check our status and the forum every day (and mostly several times a day) hoping for some progress :D

Hey guys..Please Have look ...not related with Processing but good news......

Statistics Canada reported that 28,400 jobs were created in Canada in June, almost twice the number of new jobs analysts were expecting, while just 18,000 jobs were created in the U.S. Read more on U.S. jobs data.

Canada’s population is one-tenth the size of the U.S.’s.

“On the whole, the Canadian jobs gain was pretty solid, but on [a] day that’s been overshadowed by disappointing U.S. data,” Action Economics analyst Fergal Smith said.
