Hi

I guess you have to do the paper fingerprints for Buffalo not Live Scan.

I have my fingerprints with me , will be sending them to FBI pretty soon.

This is incredibly GOOD news for Buffalo applicants. No other applicant from any other VO (even ND VO) has received RBVO within 20 days of PER in recent times (or maybe even in the past).

For PCC (FBI) the current timeline to process such requests is 6 weeks. It is really difficult to predict how long it might take and WHEN the VO might request for PCC. We do not know the trend for Buffalo VO yet. What we know is your PCC should not be more than 3 months old when you submit to VO. I guess you could wait for a month to apply for FBI report. You could apply once your application reaches "In Process" stage as mentioned by cforcanada in the previous post.

My congratulations to everyone. i have a query and will be very thankful if members of the forum answer it. i have a BSC and MSc in science. my question is that is it absolutely necessary to send transcripts in sealed envelopes or certified copies of degree and mark-sheets will suffice. I really need an answer to this. The instructions are not very clear on this. It will take a month to get transcripts for me and my spouse. Has anybody seen a rejection because he/she does not submit transcripts with original application. Please guide.

I think the instructions says if possible, if I'm not wrong ! My degree from the US was sent in a sealed envelope, but my transcripts from my native country, just a certified copy with certified translations.

I thought live scan was much faster than paper fingerprints ! has anyone on here done LIVE SCAN for this process !?
I had to do live scan (FBI + DOJ) few years ago for my Pharmacist's license in California.

Congratulations entermaria. Finally its time for medical now. Somebody suggested me to apply for FBI as soon as my status changed from RBVO to In process. I took some time off and didn't think about it. And now I am waiting for FBI, dont know for how long. You can save a lot of time, if you go and complete your FBI fingerprinting right away. Just a thought.

I am hoping to get my mecdical soon but fear Canada Post strike will cause some troubles to get that document to Ottawa, Ontario because Buffalo VO uses Canada Post to send documents. I don't need a FBI document because I live in Canada and finger print requset I'm waiting for their mail. Finger prints are done from Ottawa very fast.

I went out and had Tim Hortons coffee as a party for this great news. I'm a true Canadian ye!

It is such a relief after 6 months. They told me 32 weeks and the news came when it is 31 weeks after my PER. 10 months and 10 days passed after application filed. Hope it is agood sign for all and especially Buffalo applicants.
