Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for the congratulatory messages. I know its only a PER but given the circumstances, it was one worthy of celebration. Your best wishes and thoughts are well appreciated. It goes to show how much we've all formed some kind of bonds here on the forum. Long may it last. We had a minor celebration yesterday, wife conviscated the Phone and the iPad so I couldn't have access to the internet and when I opened my inbox this afternoon I realize I've got up to a dozen pms and about 20 pages of the forum to catch up with. So please pardon me people for my late response.

I feel so better now. Had the scan this morning and now just back home a few hours ago. I will be back at the consultant outpatient on Wednesday morning for follow up. I know there will be no problem. I think I've put myself under a lot of stress of late, impending professional exam in Canada in 3 weeks, ongoing work pressure, not to mention the PER/NER anxiety; but I think I need to put all of that aside now and look after myself. Well, what better way to start than celebrating the good news received yesterday. I've learnt to let 'tommorow' take care of itself.

Great to know that you are feeling better. Don't put much strain on yourself and take good care! You need to be all safe and sound for upcoming "med's" in hopefully no time.

Your PER is indeed one very worthy of celebration. Enjoy the relief!

For the status of your application you may email (no spaces before and after @) them at - liaison @ leo.gov

The current timeline is approx 6 weeks.

Hi, everyone...
I sent my application by courier to CIC on May 26th 2011 complete with all documents, and fee payment with mastercard debit card, and I am yet to receive any reply concerning my application. My debit card has not been encashed, and I have not received any acknowledgement.
I am getting very worried, but not yet chewing at my fingernails.
What is the next step that I should take? Is there any other person on this forum who has a similar problem? My NOC is 3111, My visa office is Accra, and I applied from Lagos, Nigeria.
Pls, someone reply and tell me what to do.....I am sitting at the edge of my seat right now, eyes glued to the screen....
