Hi Always+ve,

The passport will have older passport # so the one you sent now will say that you had an even older passport , hence it is better you send an email and a letter as well stating the previous passports you had as a minor is missing, they might suggest you some alternate for this, else there might be inordinate delay in processing your visa application.

Thanks majorhell and nitroxn. I have submitted one older passport but I don't have record or passport number of older passports. The earlier passport was of me and my spouse as minors. No sort of explanation will suffice because I feel they'll think I am trying to hide something. Don't know whether I should send them an email again saying that I have already dispatched one old passport and that has been delivered to their office today 3rd june. Pls advise. Thanks in advance

COPR = Confirmation of Permanent Residence. It's this form that accompanies your passports when they're sent back, to be signed in front of a landing official at the airport.

My Case: The COPR mentioned my wife's marital status as "single" but the same document also mentioned she was accompanied by her spouse - me. We went to the CHC in Delhi and they took about 24 hours to change it. Very cooperative staff.

Mine was ok! Hope that helps.

It would be better if you send an email and courier the hard copy of the letter, case specific enquiry was not helpfull in my case.

It would be better if you go for case specific query incase if you dont get any update in next three week time for your email / letter. I believe they will act on your email / letter as it happened in my case of VO missing my RPRF DD.
