ONLY BUFFALO CAN MAKE ME SLEEP

Just to provide you with a honest scenario - I am in good friends with a buffalo applicant (pre-june 26, however!) He was at medical request - got it done. Between medicals and passport submission request, he got married - he then called up Buffalo office and I think he went there later (we drove together!) His wife was added to the package and he had to submit all forms for his wife with marriage certificate etc etc - which they returned eventually (4 months later).

Wife was added May 2010 and till now buffalo office is silent! So its taking quite long.

Hi everyone,

Has anybody married after their post-june-26 application?
I'm wondering how such a status change might affect processing
times.

Thanks fourkey2001 for sharing your friend's experience. It was very helpful.

Congratulations entemaria on your marriage and thanks for your posts.
I am actually not married yet, I'm considering it and
at the same time I'm evaluating its impact on my immigration application.
So can i ask you a few more specific questions?
When did you get married, e.g. before receiving PER, after receiving PER or before june 26 2010?
when did you submit the spouse's documents?
Did you receive any feedback after submitting the documents?
Thanks already for your help

Hi everybody, hope you are all doing fine.

Congratulations to all those friends who have received good news during the past few days and best wishes for all who are still awaiting good news.

Temasek , architect_100 and moori , I am truly happy for you and wish you a wonderful life in Canada. :D

Hey,
Hope Pardis, katy and other Damascus (transferred to Warsaw) applicants are doing well. Just thought of you guys/ladies. Any updates in your applications? My prayers are with you. Hope you hear good news before this month runs out.

Thanks Shalom for asking. Hope you are doing great and everything is going fine with your application. :)

Nothing from Warsaw so far. Absolutely nothing and my application is now 50 days waiting in their office. :-\

Best wishes,

Katy.

a silly question -For registered mails, does somebody has to be present at the address to sign and receive the mail, or do post man deliver them to letter boxes like regulat/snail mails?

The addressee has to sign and receive the parcel

Excellent, I had no idea you'd decided on Vancouver! Definitely have to have a meet up, though I'm going to the Penny Arcade Expo at the end of August so hopefully it'll all time OK. :P

Well we're be there from 27th August (Saturday, when we hope to complete our record of landing) to 9th September (Friday) when we fly back - although as I said, there is a chance my wife will remain there permanently if we have our visas and have an offer on the house, and I will move over permanently a month or two later once the house is sold and my wife has secured a job.

Sorry guys ...... I was out of this wonderful thread for few days ... was running from pillar to post ...for new passport .... :'( :'( ....... 'Tatkal' (means immediate) procedure sucks in Hyderabad ..... more details on request .. :P :P

OK ... bad news ....... Our dear friend Ashok could not make it in the interview. The basic topic and the motive for rejection itself was rediculous ...... 'NOC duties (1122) not matching'. Then why the interview was called?? .... they could have simply raised the query through mail / letter!! ....... Even after 1/2 an hour of convincing there was no success ...... instead of giving chance with a positive outlook, VO started off with the denial.
Don't worry Ashok ....... may be there is something much better coming in your way ............ ;)
