Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi All,

As a newbie in this Forum, I first want to congratulate our moderators and all the members for their work and time for helping our community.

I have a question, my actual status is :

We received your application for permanent residence on February 22, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 29, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 05, 2011.

E-cas general status is : IN PROCESS.

Please can you tell me :

1 / Is it a normal timing considering post june 26, 2010 actual processing time.
2 / I still havent received my 2nd AOR. Is it normal ?
3 / Is my "File Transfert" March 29, 2011 ?
4 / What is normally the next step ?

I think I'm the first guy from Rabat (Morocco) VO 8) ! It will be cool to update it in files monitoring, since there are currently no one from Morocco.

Hi John and welcome to the forum.

With regard to your Q's I would say;

1) It's way better than normal to have gone "In Process" in only two and a half months from applying. Awesome timilines; Best of Luck with your processing!

2)Not all VO's bother with sending a second AOR ; so don't worry, it's qite normal.

3) I cannot say for sure that your file was transfered on 29th March but surely you have received your CIO Eligibility Review email on that day.Your file might have been sent to your VO on the same day however.

4) Normally,you should be waiting to receive your MR with or without request for RPRF/Passports in your letter box. So keep checking it regularly.

Welcome to our thread which of great value to all of us here

The time frame showing in your ecas status is quite normal. No worries about your 2nd AOR. You can expect it anytime from now on. Just make sure that the post man is sending you letters in time Did you receieve your PER from CIO ? You must have had that because this is done before your ecas is showing in process. 29th of march is not the date of your file transfer but is the date of the PER . Your ecas status should have showed recieved by visa office before changing to In process. wish you all the best in whats next

In fact, for my immigration, I preferred to get a lawyer. So I think it will be him who will receive my letter from CIO, and/or VO.

The status of my e-CAS is directly passed from "Received by VO" to "In process". So I can not tell you if I received the PER. I do not even know what PER means !

If I understand correctly, the next step is receiving the "2nd AOR" (file number change??), followed by VM, then the Visa. Is that correct?

My lawyer told me that for now, little folder "Post June 26" led (not yet issued visas). Do you think this is true?

Finally, according to my timeline, when do you think I can land in Canada?

Oh no I've just got over the fact that my entry has not been selected I'm gonna have to go through that again!

Also, anyone applying for dv lottery 2012, the may results have been revoked due to glitches in the system. New results by July 15, 2011.

U are welcome John.

PER is the email U have received from CIO on the result of their eligibility review. It is our special truncation coined on this thread for CIO "Positive Eligibility Review". On 29th March you/your consultant have/has received this email.

For a number of applicants who have received their second AOR, no new file number has been created. So you will most probably have to stick to your beautiful old one; E0000*****!

For a prediction on your landing date,you had better consult Dr.Hasib, our fortune-teller. Anyway, with your excellent timelines( I guess it's second to none so far) I can see you already flying toward Canada. Hopefully you will be landing there in no time.

MY ECAS WAS ALSO NOT WORKING. I CALLED THE CALL CENTRE AND THEY ASKED ME TO CONTACT TECHICAL DEPARTMENT IN CIC ON LAST MONDAY BY EMAIL. I CONTACTED THEM AND GOT AN AUTOMATIC REPLY BY SAME DAY AND THEN THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED BY THIS FRIDAY... IN FOUR DAYS....

NOW ECAS IS WORKING BUT SITUATION FOR BUFFALO VO APPLICANTS IS NOT CHANGING AT ALL.

TIRED OF WAITING.

WHEN I CONTACTED THE VO BUFFALO IN JANUARY.. THEY SAID IT WILL TAKE 30 WEEKS TO OPEN UP THE FILE... 30 WEEKS???????

I AM SURE I AM ONE OF THE FIRST APPLICANT IN THE NEW SCHEME AND ESPECIALLY IN BUFFALO VO BECAUSE WHEN I FOLLOWED THE THREAD THERE NO OTHER APPLICANTS IN BUFFALO WHO GOT REPLY PER FROM IN NOVEMBER 2010.

I am an applicant under 4152 category. I am from Kerala. I have stayed in 2 districts of kerala after reaching 18. Do I need to obtain Police Certificates from both the districts.
