Well just wait until they contact you. It is possible that ECAS is bugged (this has been known to happen sometimes), but I think you should prepare yourself for the fact that it might be rejection :(

Let's hope that's not the case.

Were your points or job duties borderline?

Wayne.

Hi Wayne ,

I really do'nt know what went wrong . I was expecting to be on the safer side after the CIO ER was over .. never thought NDVO would go in for a second ER .. has this happened to any one in the forum before .. Eligibility Review by the VO and then a "decision made" status ??

Well there isn't any such thing as "safe" until you actually have your visa.

I've heard of one or two people who have been rejected, or at least they know people who have, at 2nd eligibility review. Which is really stupid because CIO clearly say "final determination of eligibility" in their wording.

Anyway, don't lose hope yet - there may have been a mistake. But also I don't want to get your hopes up prematurely so at least prepare yourself for the fact that it MIGHT be rejection.

As I asked, were your points or duties borderline? (i.e. did you have only just 67 points or only just 50% of the NOC duties etc)?

Wayne.

Hi dibs,

From the first instance it seems bugs in your e-cas. As third line " Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 10, 2011." in your e-cas is promising for Medical request.

May i know have you received 2nd AOR letter from your VO ?

Waiting for your reply

Regards,
Mayank

Yes . per on 14-Feb-2011 and 2nd AOR on 16-Mar-2011 .. really worried now .. :'(

Hey G'Morning All,

This forum moves by leaps and bounds, had a lot of reading.

CONGRATULATIONS Temasek, Moori, Ladyk, krishnameister.

It was great to hear of Majorhell's aced interview.

Wayne, its frustrating,I agree. Especially when you're so near and yet so far ... courtesy Royal Mail.

I was thinking of having a secure way to share our contacts, would be a great networking idea once we're in Canada. Any suggestions?
How about a FB group? Not sure how secure it is, but Indira suggested this in another forum.

Was also thinking of a X'Mas / NY party this year, chez moi a Toronto, so hurry up y'all and get there soon.
Count me in, Rahul!

Cheers,
Rahul.

Hi Wayne and other members here's how the interview went,

I reached at embassy at 9:45 AM. My interview was scheduled at 10.15 AM. I gave my interview letter at the security check and they told me to go to reception after clearing security checks. I gave the receptionist my interview letter and after typing few lines on her computer she told me to wait in the waiting hall. I was sitting in the waiting hall along with my wife when i heard an announcement for my name and i was asked to come into a cabin. I went in there with all my documents and saw the VO (lady) sitting behind a glass. She was a nice looking lady and she then told me to have seat. Then she introduced herself to me and said that she will be assessing my file now. She didn't asked for my introduction. She got straight to the point that, she don't have my income tax returns in the file, I told her that my consultant has already mailed them to visa office some 15 days ago. She checked again and then found them at the end of file. Then she checked my income tax returns for few mins and then asked me if i have any other documents to submit. I said yes and handed few client profiles and payment receipts to her. She started asking questions about those clients

1. Where is this client from?
2. What do you do for them?
3. How they track the sales you have generated?

Thats all, i answered all questions. Then she asked about my travel history. I have been to UK and most of the Europe last year. So the questions were like

1. Why you travelled there?
2. Where you stayed in UK?

After this she asked few question about marriage.

1. When you got married?
2. Why you married her? (lol)
3. What She do now? (Wife)

okay then she called my wife from waiting hall and asked her few questions

1. What have you studied?(Smiling)
2. What subjects you have studied in your degree? (Smiling)
3. When you met this gentleman? (Smiling)
4. When you got married? (Smiling)
5. In which company you have worked before? (Smiling)
5. Why you left the job? (Smiling)
6. What title you had at that company? (Smiling)

I was just sitting there and noticing the Visa officer. lol

After this she said, Congratulations Mr...... I am approving your application and you will receive your MR and PPR in few days. Best of luck for your future.

We thanked her and came out of cabin.

few things i would like to mention here.

Visa officer was a very polite lady, she was listening to every detail very carefully. She was talking quite seriously with me but when my wife entered the cabin the whole thing changed and she was smiling all the time. :) Now thats the charm of my lady, she just smiles in every situation.

Oh another interesting fact was that my interview went for like 15-20 mins while others were taking like 45mins to 1 hour.

S W E E E E E T...majorhell!!

Smooth sailing here on...

Cheers!

What do you mean by that?
We know Buffalo is a slow moving VO but they have already issued medical requests for 2 members of this thread. We expect more to follow.
Do you have a source for such depressing info?

Alex.

Ya I thought the same when I read that thread.

I was indeed on the borderline .. 67 points .. and my reference letter had 40% of the NOC duties mentioned in it ... but i explained my duties fairly well in the "Schedule 3 " form and it matched almost 75 % to the noc .. I'm still hoping and praying for the best ..

May be an Ecas Bug, just wait and see, they will inform you.

I pray its a bug but being on the borderline can lead to anything at VO level. And your reference letter having 40% of the NOC duties mentioned is not helping matters either. I really pray for you that it is not a true reflection of your application particularly when when you have not done medical.
In the meantime, relax and try and contact the VO.
Best wishes.

Hi Majorhell, congratulation, did you tell the Visa Office that it was your own business that they ask you your tax income return? I am interested as i have not asked for tax income return.

i mentioned it in my application form that i am self employed. It was written in my interview letter that i need to mail them income tax documents for the year 2009,2008,2007. Income tax documents are very important in any case either you are self employed or employed.
